CurrentWorking in the cross-section between IT operations, information security and compliance in a fast-growing multinational company filled with IT-skilled employees has it's specific challenges, but in the end, it all comes down to providing an efficient and secure IT environment that lets all employees focus on their current tasks while meeting the security and compliance requirements both internally and from our customers.I'm progressing along three main themes with the help of skilled staff, excellent local IT coordinators and our primary outsourcing partner Visolit:- Effortless communication and collaboration, using Microsoft Teams as our primary tool for everything from Video conferencing rooms to personal chats and document sharing.- Smooth administration tools and processes - in everything from order to invoice and purchase to pay, to project management and HR onboarding. At Novacura we're living as we learn, so our own product Novacura Flow is the primary tool we use in conjunction with our ERP system, IFS. Wherever possible, we automate our processes through clever, sustainable, integrated solutions regardless of where information is stored or processed.- Polished core infrastructure, where all the basics, including server and network infrastructure, AD, security and compliance, license management, and asset control receives extra doses of love and care. Having the IT cornerstones in place and working is the key to making everything else work.- Purposeful Information security and compliance, areas that have grown and keeps growing every day. Cybercriminality is a constant threat, and we see growing demand from our customers to make sure information is protected and that privacy laws and various regulatory requirements are met. I'm following a multi-year roadmap to adapt and meet both internal and external requirements.
