About Thomas Slatter

Thomas is a filmmaker and programmer living in Munich. Born and raised in Switzerland, he trained in the field of media. Afterward, he joined the creative agency Tincan on the leadership team and advised clients in the ideation and production of advertising with a focus on film. In 2019, he took over as Artistic Director of the Zug Film Festival (Zuger Filmtage), programming promising short and feature-length films with a focus on Switzerland and was jointly responsible for the vision and direction of the festival. Since autumn 2021, he has been studying at the University of Television and Film Munich. Together with his friend Felix Sommer he started the company Sommer Slatter Film which concentrates on the production of documentaries and the development of stories.
