I have in depth experience with layer 3 dynamic and static routing protocols, layer 4 MTU troubleshooting, layer 5 ephimeral ports, layer 2 networking and troubleshooting, RADIUS/TACACS+ AAA services, SolarWinds SNMP, Cisco Unified Call Manager for VOIP phones, Standard and extended ACL's as well as firewall policies, Aruba wireless controller for WAP's, and tracing/installing fiber optic cable runs from building to building. I am familiar with network administration tools such as Active Directory, utilizing SCCM for desktop configuration/updates, DHCP server/scopes as wells as using PowerShell to automate remote software installation and information queries. Projects include:Installing new three tier network for new building including core, distribution and access layers utilizing both Juniper and Cisco network devices. I have lead the remote installation and updating of Juniper and Cisco network devices' OS utilizing a TFTP server for file transfer and appropriately communicating downtimes to corresponding organizations.Lab experience:I am studying AWS and the many cloud services it provides along with how to deploy secure and effective solutions for on demand services.I have an interest in growing my knowledge in Linux broadly and python as a language to become more effective as a network/cloud architect as well as build more efficient scripts to automate tasks.I have practiced on Cisco packet tracer as well as made networks to practice with security appliances, servers, as well as strengthen my knowledge of layer 2 and 3 switching and routing.
