My focus for my first three years at Domino was building an organization of people who can accomplish our mission. Creating a company culture and work environment which lets our people develop winning products and maintain a maniacal focus on customers is critical to success.

BioRankings' mission is to advance translational clinical research by helping move new biomedical technology that generates big data from the lab to the clinic through rigorous data analysis. BioRankings is developing a software platform emphasizing ease of use for clinical researchers while providing validated statistical methods and analyses focused on formal hypothesis testing. This allows companies to get products through the R&D pipeline faster and cheaper, and produce better results to take to the FDA.Member of the Scientific Advisory Board for BioRankings, focusing on technology (software, data, cloud infrastructure, and infosec).

Technology has always been essential to Bridgewater's mission of understanding the world's economies via a fundamental and systematic process. As a GM, I worked on a strategic transformation effort for the CEO, changing way Bridgewater approached Technical Talent in light of significant headwind for finance firms recruiting and retaining great tech talent. I built a differentiated employer brand and streamlined recruiting, hiring from campus to executive. Meanwhile, internally I built HR programs specifically tailored for technologists across talent management, compensation, L&D, performance, onboarding, and community. I changed the landscape of Bridgewater's tech talent.

Technology is essential to Bridgewater's mission of understanding the world via a fundamental and systemized process.Bridgewater's Core Technology department is responsible for realizing that vision by orchestrating the enterprise technology roadmap, ensuring world class technology, and enabling business technology groups through delivery of key core services.I work with our department head to manage the Core Technology department. From envisioning our department strategy and next generation enterprise architecture to defining the budget and recruiting key talent, I manage and operate a variety of areas in our department.Currently we're working on exploring how cloud technologies can help leapfrog existing IT infrastructure architectures, defining an enterprise iBPMS strategy, and implementing a next generation data strategy. All while running critical technology that allows Bridgewater to manage $150 billion in global investments.

My team is responsible for creating common technology services used enterprise-wide by Bridgewater's Research, Account Management, Trading, and Client Service departments. Our platforms run their day-to-day business and our services accelerate their creation of technology. We're a technology team of 30 composed of architects, developers, DBAs, and DevOps and our mission is to build world-class technology.We've created infrastructure platforms like our database offering which hold terabytes of Bridgewater's data while our data access layer service runs millions of queries per day. Our scalable web platform runs critical web apps across the company and our data services team designs and models Bridgewater's most crucial data. Our portfolio of development tools, operations tools, and collaboration tools help technologists across the company be more productive by allowing them to focus on their business problem at hand. I also run our Technology Associate recruiting program. We run a competitive internship program that gives college students a opportunity to work alongside our Technology Associates to both hone their ninja technology skills and learn about Bridgewater's business.

I built a support and operations team to manage Bridgewater's mission-critical core technology service including database services, web hosting platforms, enterprise message bus, master data management, SOA infrastructure, and developer tools. My team operated like mission control, responsible for ensuring that all runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis. But our job didn't stop there, we also made fixes and improvements to the technology to make them work more effectively.

As part of the Core Technology group, I developed applications used enterprise-wide and maintained the production environment by updating software and releasing bug fixes. One of the most impactful projects was building a common development toolset for building, testing, and deploying technology developed in an agile process.

My summer at Bridgewater was spent developing a data management and visualization application for the Client Service technology group.

Working as an intern in the Security Business & Technology Unit, I developed an application footprint scanner in order to combat malware. My code shipped in Windows Vista as part of Windows Defender.

I built predictive models for tire grip, cornering adherence, and aquaplaning resistance in wet conditions. Converted code to python.
