As a technical specialist for Revit, Dynamo, VDC, and BIM, my task is to support our clients by solving problem situations, suggesting appropriate software solutions and recommending suitable workflows. Other fields of activities are research and development of custom scripts and algorithms, consulting services, lectures at the university and presentations about particular BIM topics.

For the renovation of the main building Z1 of Ed. Züblin AG in Stuttgart Thomas was assigned as Revit and Laser-Scanning specialist for a period of 3 months. The task consisted of the digital recording of 28.000m² with 3D laser scanners and the creation of a registered point cloud. The already existing Revit model from 2008 was updated and extended by Thomas by using the point clouds, so that it could be used for the renovation measures. Revit families were recreated and the Revit project was extended with necessary standards. As Revit expert Thomas supported the architects' planning team in case of technical difficulties.
