Responsible for all business aspects of the school, including finance, investments, facilities, risk management, human resources, information technology, and other operational functions. - Manage programmatic relationships with the Finance Department- Work along-side and provide guidance over the Budgets Manager, Accounting Systems Operator, Accounting Supervisor, Grant Manager, Staff Accountants.- Prepare Balance Sheet and Income Statement account reconciliations, including the reconciliation of Net Assets and the release of restricted Revenue.- Enhance and streamline the Organization's financial structure, financial communication, departmental data flow and single point of entry process.- Manage the monthly close review and reporting.- Document and implement policies and procedures over financial reporting for the organization in accordance with GAAP and Non Profit best practices.- Lead special projects related to programs/events and analyzing departmental expenses.- Educate departments on spending policies.- Prepare and analyze quarterly and annual financial statements including annual A-133 audit.- Prepare Department of Commerce census surveys (SAS, ACES & ICT)- Prepare the annual Form 990 and 990-T.- Report and provide support directly to the CFO.
