Thomas Tapp is the Business Manager and Co-Founder of Seed Media™ and AKDRONE™. He has been working to develop cutting-edge media solutions in the community of Valdez for over 10 years—with a beginning in extreme sports films and now with established business operations including commercial video production, digital signage advertising, and media camps. Thomas has been an influential force in the growth of Seed Media, starting in a renovated bus (a mobile studio) servicing small periodic contracts and growing into a larger production studio serving long-term contracts. He is eternally optimistic and sees every step of growth as an essential part of his personal and business life. As a media professional, Thomas has developed and implemented the Seed Media Camps™, Civic Center Cinema Advertising, and AKDRONE™. He frequently teaches in the Valdez City Schools and is one of the head trainers for Seed Media Camps. He has served on the Youth Awareness Coalition board as a member, vice president, and president for a 3-year term. He has also served on the Valdez Visitor Center Board as a member and secretary for over a 3-year term. At Seed Media, Thomas manages business operations, develops new ventures, and ensures client and team success. Thomas understands that partnership and teamwork, the synergy with his partner, teammates, and himself, are the keys to success and producing Great Things! Since co-founding Seed Media LLC over 15 years ago, he has won long-term contracts with Northern Industrial Training - Alyeska Pipeline Service Company, Volunteers of America, Copper Valley Telecom, the City of Valdez, Copper Valley Electric, Valdez Native Tribe, Fairbanks Wellness Coalition, Fairbanks Native Association, Valdez Fisheries Development Association, Copper River Native Association, Valdez City Schools, and Marathon Petroleum.
