Serve as the primary point of contact for leading workflow process improvement projects and responsible for overseeing all continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. Lead initiatives that have the potential to drive significant cost savings and value acceleration for our customers. Managed receivables portfolio of $100MM and 4000+ accounts with 15 staff members. Responsible for all aspects of credit and collection functions. Designed collection strategies and programs. Developed and monitored performance metrics. Coordinated with Agents, Account Managers and Area V.P.'s to resolve receivables and payment issues. Maintained department budget. Accomplishments:• Created first ever Credit Policy Procedures and Guidelines for distribution to customers/ agents and for Credit Department staff.• Planned and implemented a 5 week collection recovery program staffed by temps which realized a net positive cash recovery of over $300K.• Led transition from paper billing to e-mail / web billing, saving over $100k annually. • Implemented and managed a one time 45 day collections incentive program that realized a bonus of $2000 per collector and reduced DSO by 2 full days.

Lead bi-weekly meetings with staff, management and other departments to analyze aging reports and identify problem accounts to direct timely collection efforts.Accomplishments:• Led the development of new reporting tools to assist sales with monitoring delinquent accounts• Resolved numerous issues related to system and human error related to over/under charges to accounts credit cards.• Initiated monthly past due notice program.

Created appropriate communications and training relative to new policies and procedures. Reviewed and analyzed system features to advance applications and better serve internal and external customers. Developed and/or enhanced collection and data management tools to improve task management, reporting and collection performance. Accomplishments:• Instrumental in growing department staff from two to thirteen staff members. Hired and trained all staff.• Coordinated with Imports/Logistics departments and vendors to develop a 3rd Party Billing module with Access and Excel that captured and collected over $1MM in potential lost accessorial costs.• Played a leading role in streamlining procedures across multiple departments.• Participated in Process Mapping program for ISO certification.
