- Architected and developed a web app that linked the machine tools to the company network, for file transfer and control. The front-end was generated by CGI/Perl programs that communicated with an Oracle database repository and a Java service that handled the file-transfer between machine controllers and file server. Software was developed and tested to meet FDA requirements for software systems used in healthcare industry.- Developed a toolkit in C, Perl and DCL to migrate the Sherpa PDM system on VMS to new eMatrix system on Windows NT and led the team that did the data migration.- Maintained the Sherpa based PDM system in production that serviced multiple groups in the company like product design, shop floor, purchase and R&D.
