Aspiring Finance Professional with a Background in Financial MarketsI am a 26-year-old finance enthusiast from Norway, recently completed my master's degree (MSc) in Business with a Major in Finance. I am set to receive the Norwegian title of Siviløkonom in december 2024.Throughout my academic journey, I held my focus on the financial markets and investing, specializing in analycis. My studies have equipped me with proficiency in Excel VBA, R, Eikon (LSEG), and Bloomberg Terminal.My interest in finance started in 2016 through investing and high frequency trading. Facing multiple setbacks that I have transformed into teachings. This taught me to better manage leveraged trading, risk management, and my personal trading psychology. I am now well-versed in operating the in the financial markets.Before fully committing to finance, I worked offshore and earned a certificate of apprenticeship (Fagbrev) as a roughneck. This role taught me the values of discipline, workplace safety, teamwork, and problem-solving.Outside of my professional pursuits, I lead an active lifestyle with a strong focus on physical fitness. I enjoy exploring through road trips and travel in the summer and spending time in the mountains during winter.In a professional setting, I enjoy both collaborative environments and working on challenges independently.
