Dual-fellowship trained orthopedic oncologist with additional pediatric orthopedic and pediatric sarcoma training. Unique experience in pediatric arthroplasty, surgical hip dislocation, Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction. Long-term research interests in pediatric sarcoma and related clinical trials. After completing the musculoskeletal oncology fellowship at Ohio State University's James Cancer Center, I joined Nationwide Children's Hospital as the first pediatric orthopedic oncology fellow. Under the direct mentorship of Dr. Thomas Scharschmidt, Dr. Kevin Klingele and Dr. Christopher Iobst, I am expanded my pediatric orthopedic oncology training with additional fellowship training in pediatric orthopedic surgery, including pediatric arthroplasty, complex pediatric hip preservation, limb lengthening and deformity correction. I returned home to South Florida to join the team at Nicklaus Children's Hospital as a pediatric orthopedic oncologist. Unique, transferrable aspects of my training include: Osseointegration, surgical 3D printing and model creation, pediatric arthroplasty, limb lengthening and medical device innovation.I have additional interests in medical education, innovation and leadership. I have experience in both clinical research and basic science research. From past employment across industries and full-time MBA program at Vanderbilt, I have additional experience in science writing, media interaction and producing educational content.
