CurrentI was promoted to CSI detective with the mandate to uncover critical digital and physical evidence tosupport successful investigation resolution. I serve as technical SME supporting multiple teams andrespond to queries on networking and general technical issues, provide troubleshooting help andguidance, and resolve technical issues where possible. As the go-to person for all digital forensics needs,I download and analyze phone data and perform computer forensics. I leverage a range of industrystandard tools to download suspect phone metadata and determine conversations, contacts, internetusage, and phone contents and to gain access to, investigate, and analyze suspect hard drives.I contributed to a multi-jurisdictional investigation and leveraged digital forensics tools and expertise toanalyze a large number of USB drives from a search warrant.-Discovered a log with relevant data to support the investigation.As a recognized surveillance systems expert, I collect, download, and analyze data from all majorsurveillance systems. I utilize industry standard tools to edit and convert proprietary data tostandardized formats—including MP4—for ease of evidence viewing by attorneys and otherstakeholders. Also, as department representative and signing authority for the approval process to pullcity surveillance, I analyze requests and provide decisions on police involvement.-Unearthed key evidence supporting critical investigations by confirming suspect movements andactions.I was hand-selected by the city CISO to help build a partnership between CSI and the cybersecurityorganization. I work closely with the CISO, security analyst, and security engineer to understandcybersecurity policies and processes. I also work with the security engineer to address alarms. Icontribute to the transition to a new SEIM—including authoring scripts.-Partnered with CISO to create a USB policy that addressed both CSI and cybersecurity needs andrequirements.
