Thomas Verrette is an award-winning director, producer, and editor in Los Angeles. His most recent work is "Zero Gravity", a feature documentary about middle-school students who compete in a NASA competition to code satellites aboard the International Space Station. "Zero Gravity" has premiered at 70+ film festivals in 11 countries, including DOC NYC, Docs[MX], Cinequest, Cleveland International Film Festival, SFFILM, SCAD Savannah, Wood's Hole, Dances With Films, Heartland, Boston Film Festival, and New York International Children's Film Festival, and it has won 18 documentary awards to date. Special presentations include the 2022 ISS R&D Conference, AIAA ASCEND Conference, Imagine Science Live Series, Earth X, and Opening Night at PBS' Earth Focus Environmental Film Festival. Zero Gravity's ongoing impact campaign to promote STEAM education and science appreciation has empowered over 10,000+ students to date.Verrette is a former FOX and Disney creative and post-production executive, and is best-known for producing the 20-episode international docuseries, "Phenoms" for FOX Sports, which was broadcast on FOX primetime, FOX Sports, and 30 international markets during the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. Verrette also edited "The Goalkeepers" episode, which launched the series at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival. To date, he has managed the post production of over 250 projects, and frequently wears multiple hats, excelling at managerial and creative needs simultaneously. Verrette has 15+ experience as a producer and editor for trailers, promos, commercials, sizzles, and digital marketing content. Recent marketing campaigns include Peacock's "Last Light" & "Kingdom", Starz's "Outlander" & "Power", Fox Sports' "Phenoms", Hulu's "Bite Size Halloween", and many other BRAND Campaigns for aforementioned networks. Other featured work includes editing the sci-fi feature "Parallels”, co-producing the comedy series "Small Shots”, and producing the international sports documentary “Ordinary Gods”. He also directed promos for "The Dan Patrick Show", "The Rich Eisen Show", and "Undeniable with Joe Buck", and has been nominated for multiple PromaxBDA awards.
