Hi, and thanks very much for visiting my LinkedIn Profile.You’re busy, so here’s a quick overview of who I am and what I do:1) Publishing, education, food & wine, writing, photography, digital content development and strategy: they’re all part of my professional DNA.2) I’ve worked for small businesses, Fortune 500 firms, and not-for-profit organizations, and my client list has included major publishers, colleges and universities, cultural institutions, community organizations, as well as solopreneurs and individuals. 3) My role might involve providing a product or service that addresses a key need; creating a seminar or presentation that teaches attendees a new skill; writing copy or taking photographs to help an organization promote its mission; or advising graduate students on their thesis projects. 4) I excel at consultative sales, client relationship management and as an educator because, first and foremost, I genuinely want to help others succeed, and it’s enormously satisfying when I can play a role in that success.5) Experience has taught me that being a problem-solver begins with taking the time to listen and fully understand my client’s objectives and any potential barriers.6) I earn high marks for energy, friendliness, follow-through, and for product and subject knowledge--but I’m not afraid to admit that I don’t know the answer (I’ll find it asap) or ‘fess up when I’ve made a mistake. This helps me earn trust and build long-term relationships. I’m a natural diplomat and skilled negotiator, and I have a particular knack for mending fences and managing particularly challenging accounts and partnerships. I’m able to build a crack team and work collaboratively to take on mission-critical projects and bring them home on time and within budget.7) If a crisis breaks out, I’m one of the coolest heads around. However tight the timeline or seemingly impossible the obstacle, I can think clearly, act quickly and decisively, and lead the team to daylight.8) On the job or off, I love to create. I write articles, I take photos, and I spend a fair amount of time in the kitchen cooking and developing recipes (which I'm happy to share!).
