About Thomas Wild

I am a programme manager for Prosper's Stemovator programme (Formerly Young Engineers and Science Clubs). We support schools and clubs across a number of STEM engagement projects. I work with my team to deliver a wide range of initiatives with support from our industry partners.I am a passionate science communicator with extensive experience with numerous STEM organisations across the U.K. in a variety of roles including workshop development, event coordination, community outreach, project management and staff training. My background is in geology and physical sciences. In 2015 I was awarded an M.Sc Geology from the University of Aberdeen. I gained a first-class B.Sc (Hons) in Earth Science from the University of Glasgow (2012).

In my role as regional coordinator for the northeast 'Young Engineers and Science Clubs' initiative, I supported teachers develop and run new STEM clubs up awith access to start-up grants, free resources, training and advice. I was a contact and source of advice for science clubs within the North East. I assisted with planning and implementing of YESC’s annual programme of activities and helped to develop and implement new projects for the programme.
