I lead the emerging companies and venture capital team in Manatt's Los Angeles office. I represent venture-backed companies at every phase of their life cycle, from formation through exit. I advise founding entrepreneurs and growth stage companies on venture capital and private equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate and commercial transactions. I also represent venture capital funds, angel networks, family offices, high net worth individuals, and celebrities in venture investment and strategic transactions. I work with clients in all industries, acting as outside general counsel, consultant, advisor and friend.

Worked as a corporate lawyer in Dentons' Global Venture Technology and Emerging Growth Companies practice and was the Co-Chair of Dentons' US Startup Practice. Led broad range of corporate and transactional matters, focusing primarily on venture capital led financings and strategic M&A, as well as debt financings, commercial contracts, technology transactions and joint ventures.

Worked as a member of the firm's Corporate Practice Group, focusing on private equity, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, corporate governance and general corporate/business matters. Member of the firm’s Venture Capital, Entertainment, Advertising and Sports Industry Teams.

Accepted a position into the Corporate Group of Sheppard Mullin's New York office.

Worked with emerging market technology based companies, such as internet, bio-tech, and alternative energy. Drafted formation and governance documents for corporations and limited liability companies. Assisted on venture capital transactions, including stock and asset acquisitions.

Taught English at a public elementary school in an economically disadvantaged area of Busan, South Korea. Planned and led daily classes of 30 students from kindergarten through sixth grade.

Worked closely with the UCLA Football coaching staff to plan, coordinate, and facilitate all practices and games. Promoted in 2008, managed a staff of nine other student assistants.
