As a Commissioning Manger for FPC Global's Building Performance Services division, I collaborate with the MEP design consultants and fit-out contractors of highly-technical commercial real estate projects to ensure that projects' design, construction and commissioning phases proceed smoothly. During design, this involves establishing commissioning requirements and reviewing RIBA stage 3/4 design documents to ensure that 'commissionability' of the design is considered as early as possible. This ensures the best interests of my clients are safeguarded against potential performance, operational, and program impacts during stages 5,6 and 7.Throughout construction, I provide technical oversight, ensuring that systems are installed and commissioned in accordance with local standards and client OPRs. As a Building Performance Services consultant or CxA commissioning manager, I witness key commissioning activities and inform clients of their MEP systems' readiness.Post-Occupancy, I troubleshoot system performance and advise Facilities Management on corrective actions.Although based in the UK, I have oversight of projects throughout EMEA in London, Paris, Munich, Aarhus, Roskilde, Athlone, Tel Aviv, and Haifa and have assisted APAC teams with projects in Hyderabad, Singapore, Auckland and Bangalore.

My first job in the UK was as a Freelance TSM for ISG Major Projects. I worked in this role between arriving in the UK in September of 2019 and the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020, during which freelance contracts were terminated.In this role, I was one of a 5 TSM team managing the coordination of MEP, Networking, and construction trade subcontractors for an 11-floor IoT-heavy office building. The building was a pilot project for a blue-chip global technology client's Artificial Intelligence HQ.My role was to ensure MEP system readiness ahead of commissioning and client handover. In this role, I oversaw the construction and commissioning of a diverse range of spaces including comms rooms, open-plan offices, restaurants, gym, event spaces, auditorium, and other specialist areas.

At the time, Sydney Metro Stage 2 was Australia's largest infrastructure construction project. I worked within the Plant and Equipment team for CPB and was the sole mechanical engineer on-site at the Pitt Street Tunnel and Station Excavation site. My role was to oversee the operation and maintenance of mission-critical plant and equipment including roadheaders, rock-bolting and shotcrete rigs, gantry cranes, ventilation plant and to coordinate the logistics of Over-Size/Over-Mass plant transportation including road closures, gazetting permits, traffic control and crane lift plans.In addition to the above, I wrote and implemented Safe Work Method Statements, procured consumables and spares for plant and equipment and coordinated waste management on site.

My key role was to oversee contracts for the fabrication, supply and installation of fire deluge manifolds, distribution pipework and sprinkler arrays for Cross Passages and parallel mainline tubes in the Western half of the M4E road tunnel.Secondary roles included the management of commissioning permits for work within 5 electrical substations and leading client progress inspections.

Contracting on industrial hydrocarbon pollution management works and managing asset verification data for BP's Company Owned, Company Operated service stations in NSW and QLD. The role was split ~60-40 between working from home on the collation of data/reformatting site inspections into a more user friendly format for clients and on-site labouring.

Sized and drafted HVAC systems for restaurants, hospitals, telephone exchanges, childcare centres and schools using Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit for BIM and CAMEL for heat load estimation. Undertook BCA Section J energy audits.

Worked alongside graduate and senior engineers to design new equipment and modifications to existing equipment using Autodesk AutoCAD, PTC Creo Parametric and Strand 7 for finite element analysis.Role was largely design focussed and involved the creation of 3D parametric models of elevator cars, their components and custom tooling, the generation of 2D layouts and technical drawings for clients based upon those models.
