Using the skills I learned as a Design Verification Technician, I now analyse and report for electrical power supplies to certify for industry standards around the world.This involves carrying out a range of electrical and mechanical tests on products, design changes and prototype stages to ensure that all safety requirements are met and suitable for the market they're to be used in. Includes reading and writing official documentation and reports to be assessed and certified confirming our products are safe for use.We work alongside our in house engineers and QA teams to make sure that all our products meet the strictest of requirements for our customers and their respective markets. This includes testing of individual components to confirm their suitability and proof of deliverance.

This role see's me collaborating with the engineers and project managers to carry out a range of functional, electrical and thermal testing to make sure the units are fit for customer purpose. This includes analysing data and forming reports, modifying automated test code, writing test plans and code, updating key stake holders on progress and potential pit falls. Once all the testing and reporting is complete, the unit can then be signed off for production.

I moved into the Systems Configuration role to broaden my horizon with working with new systems, and learning how to configure various systems and business processes. The role consists of a lot of project management and reconfiguration of business critical programs, implement change requests, configuring both new and existing clients as well as working with developers and data analysts to iron out kinks in systems/report and command new reports to better extract data.
