Job Role Included:• Overseeing all sessions, assisting and advising as appropriate. • Assisting in the planning, implementation and evaluation of detailed training and event programmes for competitive gymnasts. • Coaching the gymnasts on the elite pathway. • Responding to parent emails/queries. • Assessing the gymnasts are in the correct group for their age, ability and pathway as well as coach expertise. • Liaising with coaching staff about the competitions the gymnasts are aiming for. • Liaising with the other Head’s of Department to ensure smooth running of the gym. • Assessing staff hours in relation to most efficient use of their time. • Recruitment advertising if there is the need for more coaches. • Recommending the purchase of replacement/new equipment, improvements and innovations to the gym. • Aid the coaches in preparing gymnasts for their competitions. • Running the social media for promotion for the club.

Job Role Included:Coaching:• Coached a group of gymnasts working towards Regional Grades. • Co-coached a group of gymnasts working towards National Grades. Coach Education:• Workshopped and lead Coach Education days with the young leaders, assistant and junior coaches covering different apparatus. • Created a skills archive of videos and progressions for basic skills on each apparatus.

Role consisted of:• Coaching a group of gymnasts training 16 hours a week working towards their first elite grade. • Co-coaching an older group of gymnasts working through the higher elite grades and working towards competitions such as the English and British Championships. • Coaching a small amount of recreational gymnastics.

Job Role Included:• Coaching the FIG, Compulsory and National Grades group.• Assist the Head of Department in the preparation and planning of coaching sessions. • Running the Young Leaders Programme - planning and presenting the Club Manager and Head’s of Department training days/workshop ideas for the young leaders, assistant and junior coaches. • Acted as Head of Department in absence of actual Head of Department. • Mentoring junior coaches through their Level One and Level Two qualifications. • Assisting the Head of Department in organising in-house competitions.• Looking at departmental finances in relation to staffing salaries and equipment purchase budgets.
