I found out that my father lost his job due to The Great Recession after graduation. I quickly became an adult and learned how to survive. That was a rough time for most families. My family had no plan. They started to live off their savings and even dipped into some retirement income. Shortly after, I lost my older brother. A parent should never have to worry about burying their child. Not only did they have the emotional burden of burying my brother, but they also had the financial burden of burying him as well. This helped me notice many families go underserved and need help. This is the reason why I became a Financial Professional.
