AVL is an outsourced CEO firm for small to mid-sized companies of various industries. As a Senior Accountant, I've had the unique opportunity to work with nine different clients in the CPG, direct-to-consumer, consulting, and SAAS industry. My work includes closing the books on a monthly basis, compiling financial packages, managing perpetual inventory systems, A/R, A/P, and much more.AVL has allowed me to work with five different CFO's with various management styles. This experience has broadened my accounting knowledge which allows me to apply effective strategies and accounting practices to other clients.

Let's Go began as a service exclusively for college students. As we built our mobile application, we learned that our service needed to be in the hands of everyone. We went back to the drawing board and started over. Our Founder, Tommy simply posted all his outdoor activities online for others to join. It was a huge success.. So we built an app around that.We are currently in Beta testing but will be launching Fall 2022.

Each semester the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater offers an incubator program for a select amount of students. After pitching my idea, revenue model, and sales strategy I was selected as one of six students to participate in the program. Chapter Companion is a software start-up company which allows groups to internally interact on a private web-based application. We rolled out our pilot this fall of 2015 with 320 active users and have 76,000 site views. The market is a complicated subject, the sooner we learn the ups and downs, the better we will understand the market in the future. Beta Alpha Psi is a national professional fraternity, specific for upper level accountants. Beta provides the opportunity for accounting majors to network with CPA firms and Private Industries as well. Every Thursday night Beta introduces a local accounting firm and they present a topic to over 80 members. As a Beta Alpha Psi Board Member and Treasure I: - Created and sent out invoices for events - Created and implemented a semiannual $500 Beta Scholarship - Performed the organizations book keeping - Completed monthly bank reconciliations - Forecasted future semester budgets - Attended Beta Alpha Psi conferences

SUFAC, otherwise known as Segregated University Fee Allocation Committee is a student run committee that allocates UW-Whitewater's student fees to student organizations. Last fall (2013) we allocated over 1.5 million dollars to the student organizations. This committee is crucial to offer students a chance to get involved and learn outside the classroom setting. As the Chair I:- Organized and led meetings- Utilized my Excel skills - Prepared and reviewed financial documents - Met and presented budgets to Chancellor for approval- Reinvested student tution back into the student's pockets
