With a wide portfolio of products and technologies the CPT group are well equipped to continue servicing the full hydrogen/hydrocarbon value chain both with conventional and new emerging green technologies. It is my job to increase customer visibility, grow our market position and ultimately provide return for our investors. As General Manager I am responsible for the profitability, work place health and safety, project delivery, quality management compliance, client relations and business development for the Brisbane Office which is a satellite of the Melbourne HQ Australian operation. I was accountable for the successful delivery of all projects executed from the Brisbane office. With a focus on achieving target gross margin, staff utilisation and quality management, these projects included, concept design of modular CSG wellhead facilities, and FEED of brownfield gas plant upgrade and detailed design of a high-pressure gas interconnect facility. I managed a team of 5 project delivery staff, performed peer assessments and quality audits and ensured compliance with company Quality Management Systems. I was also a key member of the business development team and contributed to bids and tenders submitted in Queensland.

I was responsible for the planning of projects, which included budget, schedule and execution methodology. I coordinated and controlled the delivery of the project, managed the relationship with the clients, dealt with change management, performed a technical review of engineering, engaged with the procurement and contracts department and executed project close-out involving lessons learned, archiving and budget review.Projects included:•Lucky Gully Deviated Pilot Project, for Origin Energy. Detailed engineering to re-use existing equipment for a new pair of pilot CSG wells. •Ground Water Monitoring Bores Project, for Origin Energy, which involved designing, fabricating and installing 48 water bore monitoring systems. •Well Test Package, for Origin Energy, which involved managing the design verification activities for pilot well surface facilities designed for rapid assembly. •Rolleston Sales Gas Quality Upgrade Project for Origin Energy, a 4500 man-hour brownfield FEED project providing due point control and condensate stabilisation/storage. •Multi Well Pilot Project for Origin Energy, a 2500 man-hour detailed design project for the deployment of two multi-well CSG pilot facilities.

Reporting to the Project manager I carried out engineering scope for several projects simultaneously as well as scope for a $1bn project. I was responsible for the engineering and for reviewing engineering of a 1000 tonne per day ammonia nitrate facility and a $25m feed project for a refinery in Iraq, for which I looked after one of 12 units. I also acted as the client’s Project Engineer for Incitec Pivot Ltd and as Project Manager for scope delivered internally, which included buildings and process plants, liquid nitrogen storage and nitrogen generation.Projects included:• Daura RFCC Project, Client – MRC (Iraq) which involved the delivery of FEED engineering scope for SRU plant within RFCC facility in Iraq• Project Aurora, for Incitec Pivot Limited (IPL) which involved coordinating client engineering input and review for a $1B Ammonium Project in Moranbah

As a site based Field Engineer I worked on 2 projects. The LOPS Project at Port Campbell for TRUenergy, a gas processing plant upgrade and the DHTU II Project at Lytton for Caltex, which involved the installation of a Diesel Hydro Treater Unit to the refinery, including off-sites and utilities. My responsibilities involved answering technical queries, coordinating with head office for engineering support, inspecting installation against design, administering punch lists and coordinating completion and handover activities.

I was involved with the Maura Upgrade Project, for Queensland Nitrates Pty Ltd (QNP) which involved the replacement of mechanical equipment items such as pressure vessels and pumps, in an Ammonium Nitrate Facility. I was involved with the follow up of Hazop action items, equipment lists and vendor data review.

Worked as a Graduate Mechanical Engineer involved in Front End Engineering and Design projects for the oil and gas industry. Projects included a Gas Processing plant in Iran, producing FEED datasheets for pressure vessels, pumps and packaged equipment. Karachaganak Phase 3, which involved the FEED infrastructure required for a 12000 man construction camp. Also worked in the business development department, specifically working on proposals producing man hour and delivery summaries for oil and gas projects.
