I was responsible for developing the technical strategy for clients, managing their technical health, and leading the technical engagement strategy from an IBM Hardware and Software perspective.I was responsible for leading the development of the technical strategy for Energy Australia's IT enterprise as IBM Chief Architect I implemented innovative technology solutions for server, storage and cloud into the EnergyAustralia enterprise. I worked directly with other IBM divisions in parallel to help optimize solution integration.I contributed as the IBM GTS Enterprise Architect for IBM's EnergyAustralia account for a new retail CCB (Customer Care and Billing) application to help consolidate five (5) applications.I conducted an assessment of the existing infrastructure and its capabilities for growth and capability requirements. The resulting options and recommended strategy helped to formulate solution options to EnergyAustralia to enhance the capability of their environment including disaster recovery. Most of the infrastructure solutions were implemented and resulted in improved capacity and capability for migration to the CCB the 5 applications successfully.I also was a primary contributor to EnegyAustralia's 5-year infrastructure technology road-map. I contributed to the road-map to help identify the infrastructure dependencies based on changing application requirements and integrated into the deployment of the CCB retail application as well as disaster recovery.

Included review IT operations for UPMC and how to better implement problem management requirements.

Responsible as IBM lead architect to conduce a server consolidation initiative to improve the capabilities of compute resources, where they are located and was could be completed to optimize operations. Providing IT enterprise optimization of server, application and data center consolidation. Consolidation centralization was completed at Denver, Colorado and Minneapolis, Minnesota data centers. Responsible for providing solutions at enterprise level designs to reduce and consolidate the number of servers, and reduce complexity. Responsible to supervise the centralizing of computer resources to primary, secondary as well as regional data centers by migration and consolidation and to assure that operations was fully maintained. This multi-year project was very successful and resulted in Xcel Energy reducing annualized operational costs. The Xcel Energy program lead thanked me personally for leading my team in the successful consolidation of their enterprise

Responsible for assisting as an Infrastructure Architect the recovery of business operations due to the collapse of the World Trade Center, September 11, 2001. Helped to lead the reconstruction of infrastructure services at Sacramento, California responsible for the retrieval of data from disaster recovery site located at New Jersey and moved to California for restoral. The crisis team, which I was a contributing part as an infrastructure architect, received significant recognition from IBM for our successful recovery of FranklinFiduciary as a business quickly.
