Sleeping Lady Films Waking Giants Productions is a Native American majority owned production company based out of Santa Fe, New Mexico and British Columbia Canada. Started by award winning actor Irene Bedard and Canadian businessman Thom Denomme, the company focuses on positive, inspiring stories from the Indigenous Peoples of the world. Our goal is to serve as a bridge between the Native and non-Native worlds.

I started this company to help many of my friends who attended Canada's Indian Residential Schools. In six years, and with a very limited budget, we helped over 5000 survivors with their claims costing the Canadian Govt between $500-$600 million. The Govt then found a way to shut us down and attempted to discredit us through agencies we had embarassed through their inefficiencies.. To this day, this company and all the incredible selfless people that we worked with, I humbly count as one of my greatest achievements.
