So, with the help of my own support team, I guide myself & my coaching clients to “walk our Whys” – aligning purpose, profession & (com)passion, so that we nurture our world by nourishing our lives – with each step on our changemaker paths.I am dedicated in my entrepreneurial endeavors, volunteer efforts, & everyday life to co-creating the conditions for a thriving, just, regenerative world. I engage & teach mindfulness practices, not only to relieve stress & find peace, but also to connect with & live from the Source within ourselves. I let go of involvement in several other organizations I was a part of, because the calling from pachamama - by way of Pachamama Alliance - became so abundantly clear (after two universal 2x4s to the head) that I knew where I wanted to invest my time and resources as a volunteer. That choice - that stand - for which I am increasingly grateful, led to co-creation and co-leadership of the Golden Gate Community, based in San Francisco. In 2015, I was invited by founder Lynne Twist into the Business Engagement Team (now called Business Engagement Initiative, or "BEI") - charged with bringing the vital mission of Pachamama Alliance into the world of business. Our team created and now promotes and distributes an empowering transformational course for business, called AWAKENER - based on cornerstone programming of the organization, that has been facilited by local community leaders for hundreds of thousands of participants globally.A Co-Lead of the BEI, I remain fully committed to bringing forth an environmentally regenerative, spiritually fulfilling, socially just human presence on this planet.

I am grateful to have been personally trained by Derek Rydall as one of his five master coaches to-date (one of whom was a top trainer for Tony Robbins and long time mentor to Derek). I began studying under Derek in 2014, when I heard him speak of the principles of Emergence on a radio show and quickly realized his work deeply resonated with my own and with a deeper calling I had yet to fully answer. I attended Derek's first live training retreat with a group of under 30 people. Since that intensive training event, I have engaged numerous similar retreats, studied all of Derek's (Emerging Edge Media's) core trainings, and have employed Derek as my own personal coach. As I built my own practice (Walk Your Why), I needed to reduce my time investment there, but I remain actively & lovingly engaged as Master Coach in Derek's IMPACT Mastermind, a powerful high-level small group program for "Thought Leader Business Builders."

A dear friend and colleague, Michael Williams helps people be loved and seen - by being heard. His phenomenal work, as the Smooth Speech and Presentation Specialist, serves individuals across the globe who struggle in their speech. A stutterer himself for much of his life, Michael dedicated himself to being a smooth, effective communicator and to helping others do the same. A leader in his own right, Michael created and has continued to improve upon (as his delighted clients will happily attest) the "ultimate smooth speech system." It did not take long for me to learn that the people in Michael's world yearn to stop stuttering and become smooth speakers, largely because they have something valuable to share with the world. They have deep purpose that needs to find effective expression. So Michael's tribe of professionals struggling with speech also resonate very much with my work, and my work, as life purpose guide, is a good fit in his world. Michael also helped me become aware of and steadily improve upon my own speech disfluencies, which were holding me back much more than I had realized. And I helped him (and continue to) realize that his deeply purposeful work is something he must do.

At the time of my involvement, Vital Systems was an innovative start-up natural building firm organized as a consensus membership organization. The pioneering company moved to Ukiah and continues under the direction of founder Tim Owen-Kennedy, well known in the natural building sphere.
