As part of the AIIR Leadership Development (LD) team, I enable leaders to live purposeful, intentional, and healthy lives which positively impact their teams, organizations, communities, and themselves. In my capacity as Senior Leadership Solutions Designer, I serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert on leadership development, assessing the needs of individuals and teams, and using this information to design and deliver targeted development programs that are aligned with an organization's strategic goals and objectives.My passion for developing leaders was influenced by my tenure as the Chief People Officer for a Leadership Institute offering behaviorally-based leadership development, recruitment solutions, pre-employment assessments, and training programs. In that role, I worked as a Senior Learning and Development Consultant creating and implementing Organizational Development plans to enhance performance management and conducting a variety of trainings for C-Suite executives and their teams.Preceding the Institute, I served as a Learning and Development Consultant for a Consulting firm which I co-founded. We were focused on improving companies’ operations by assessing areas of development and implementing solutions in communications, sales strategy, human resources, and leadership. Our team engaged in qualitative and quantitative analysis of customer’s needs, wants, and expectations, and built solutions bearing the largest likelihood of success [Customer Development / Customer Experience – CX methodologies]. We even used the methodology in the legal field producing multi-million-dollar awards in civil litigation.My affection for strategy was born at a Social Enterprise Startup where I had the privilege of helping to build the organization into a brand producing an excess of $50-million in annual revenues. I served in a variety of roles developing internal and external training programs for over 4-million participants, authoring books and curriculum, serving as a national spokesperson, and raising millions of dollars in funds through grant writing and community outreach efforts.
