Wood Loft Studio was my start into freelance web design. Based in Delaware, OH, I began doing full-time web design & development, focusing on a user-first approach to all of my designs. I knew that every business needed a strong online presence, and so I focused my attention on taking small business websites that were outdated and not mobile-friendly, and redesigning them using modern, responsive styling, with cleaner layouts & designs.

Tavaris was a startup project aimed at connecting small businesses and business owners together in an online environment. The plan was hatched to develop a suite of tools that encouraged faster and easier communication, and fostered better relationships among small business owners and vendors. The project was started in 2013, and sadly in 2015 had to be put on hold. But the dream is still alive ;)

I was responsible for managing Franklin University’s relationships with Community and Technical College partners with the goal of promoting and growing Franklin's Community College Alliance Program. I traveled to 15 states over 5+ years speaking in classrooms, boardrooms, and in conference centers, educating students, faculty, and staff about transfer and articulation opportunities between their colleges and Franklin University.I was also responsible for managing communications with key college representatives while at the same time developing strategies to improve communications, generate and capture qualified leads, and maximize Franklin University's exposure at each college and the surrounding communities in order to uncover additional opportunities for transfer students and better relationships with the colleges.

I built and maintained a comprehensive database management system for Corporate One's electronic contract library. I managed the distribution of all outgoing contracts and updated and catalogued all of the incoming contracts. I was the gatekeeper and organizer for the 12,000+ service contracts for all Corporate One member credit unions nationwide.I worked with both the Director of Creative Communications and Director of Events to coordinate and promote all in-person and online training events.I gathered and analyzed sales and statistical data on a monthly basis for the board of directors, and prepared monthly expense reports for marketing department personnel.
