In my role I own, deploy, measure and monitor our company's transportation performance in term of quality and service for the customer. The company sell and ship products all over the world, and the main market is large distributors in Sweden and in the Nordic countries, to which we ship multiple full trucks shipped each week. As one of my regular tasks I follow up the forwarders delivery performance and have weekly meetings with my contacts with the intention to optimize the routes so the customers get their orders according to agreed plans. Other tasks I do on regular basis is cost follow up and invoice control. Schneider Electric is a large multinational company and I am often involved with global transport projects which is to be implemented on global basis, but I also run local projects to improve the transport performance. Worth to mention is a local project during 2018 where we did a completely new set up of transport routes in SAP, both for domestic and international lanes, to get a better deliver performance to the customers.

In my work I use prognosis, sales input and historical demands to adjust stock level to reach our goal to shorten leadtime from order to delivery, and to reduce inventory costs. The company manufacture many ingoing components to the products in-house. One tool contains of approximately 20-30 manufactured components which is assemblied before it gets shipped to customers.
