I assisted in the preparations for the Louis Stokes Midwest Regional Center of Excellence (LSMRCE) 2019 Conference as the Spotlight Student for the event. Aided in bridging the gap between IN LSAMP Scholars and Schools on campus to inform both groups of future opportunities to help promote a lasting relationship to benefit current and prospective scholars.

As a Diversity Scholars Research Program (DSRP) recipient I have been conducting research since the very start of my college career. As a part of DSRP, I have a continual mentor and faculty support which has provided me with the privilege of being mentored by Dr. Ali Razban. Together we have constructed in-depth research about the current trends of growth in renewable technologies. With Dr. Razban's assistance, I analyzed country-specific renewable energy growth in countries with the highest acceleration of integration of these technologies.

As Director of Sustainability for RHA, I play a significant role in the events that on-campus-housing students attend. As a person in the background, my team and I must work together to ensure the execution of each event goes as smoothly as possible.As I've grown in my position with RHA, I learned the importance of collaboration; the pooling of everyone’s ideas leads to success as different perspectives help to broaden the reach each initiative can have. As I work to build a greener IUPUI, I am learning the work needed to make a change.

Indianapolis, Indiana Area

As an Electrical Engineer Intern, I dealt with the wiring, automated systems, cabin functions, entertainment components, lighting, and more pertaining to the aircraft. I used programs such as Visual Engineer, AutoCAD, Solidworks, and more to build and work with the schematics of the planes. I worked on the technical reports for the planes ensuring that any necessary changes were made along with constructing reports for the safety regulations and testing. I shadowed my fellow team members as we went into the plane and conducted all of the tests needed for the plane to pass Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) standards. While at Comlux Aviation, the company's primary focus was the AirBus 330 so that was my primary focus during my time at Comlux.
