From there, I launched into the business world as an entrepreneur, owning and operating businesses including a consulting practice based in Chicago which specialized in employee benefits and retirement plans, an automotive distribution business with multiple locations in the U.S. and Canada and an automotive paint service business located in Toronto. Also, I followed my passion of cooking and entertaining as the owner of a well-known restaurant located in Rosedale. Developing these start-up businesses necessitated my development of a strong business acumen.
