I travelled to tournaments on behalf of SCU, and coached the school's parliamentary debate team to win many important debate rounds. I have served as a varsity judge at many university-level tournaments, by bringing over 10 years of debate experience to my background/judging philosophy for each debate round that I judge or coach.

UPA competes in the Coast Forensic League, and has already enjoyed tournament success in its first year of operation. The team is building slowly, but surely; and, the students currently involved are extremely motivated and talented speakers. My background in Speech & Debate goes back to my Freshman year of HS to my graduation from Santa Clara University. I have travelled the national circuit in policy debate, and competed at NFL Nationals as well as the TOC.
