Bankwest Finance acts as a partner to the Bankwest Business to help them succeed. Bankwest Finance provides financial information and business advice to support our business units to build sustainable shareholder value. Specifically my role involves supporting with all aspects of the annual reporting cycle including budget setting, plan loads, monthly actuals and forecast reporting and financial processes including manual journals and reconciliations. In addition, it includes quarterly, half-yearly and annual financial reporting and management reporting including FTE and productivity reporting.

The Deposits product team at Bankwest is responsible for the development and implementation of transactional and savings products. In addition, the team manages the portfolio of products throughout the products lifecycle, this includes ensuring the products remain competitive, are fit for purpose and managing the product margins. As a product manager, I’m responsible for the day to day enablement of products including risk and change management. Bankwest works under the Scrum methodology within the agile way of working, my role involves acting as a subject matter expert within squads to give product expertise on an array of projects as well as leading portfolio initiated changes myself.A major project I worked on in this role was supporting with the implementation of Open Banking.
