Today post a strategic review over 90% of production is from SHV owned and operated orchards.,o Undertook one of Australia first significant agribusiness sale and leaseback transactions allowing SHV to develop over 3,000HA of greenfield almond orchards ($160m transaction).o Acquired 9 almond orchards - all continue to exceed their acquisition business cases.o Company almond orchard portfolio has grown from 3,536HA to 9,262HA, including over 3,500HA of greenfielddevelopments. Almond production volume has grown from 5,830MT in 2012 to 29,630MT in 2022.o Business growth has been strongly supported through capital market funding (both equity and debt).Reduced the impact of commodity pricing volatility on the bottom line.o Invested over $15m in capital to establish large scale, value-adding capability: blanching, slicing, paste and meal production. o Invest over $15m in a 3.4-Megawatt, biomass plant generating electricity for the processing facility and one orchard, utilising low value biomass. This strategy has created sufficient potassium to recycle 40,000MT of organic matter into SHV orchards. This has resulted both in a financial and environmental benefits.One third of electricity consumption is now generated internally.
