Manager, Market Development
• Serve as information resource to NGVAmerica members, clean-air/clean-transportation advocate-allies, policy-makers and to the general public regarding NGV and fueling technologies, market applications, economics, policies and effective program implementation practices. • Assess NGVs’ competitive position (e.g., emissions, performance, costs) vis-à-vis petroleum- and alternative-fueled vehicles and provide input to other NGVAmerica team members regarding development of tools, communications and other market development resources to help our members and advocate-allies capture greater market share.• Develop and maintain niche-market-specific information including: market data (e.g., market fleet inventory estimates, representative daily/monthly/annual fuel use and other applicable duty-cycle information, “top 50” account lists); lists of existing NGV applications (e.g., fleet location, number of vehicles, primary contact); sales-marketing allies’ personnel and contact information (e.g., OEM representatives, ES&S representatives); relevant associations’ committees, events, programs and staff; media (e.g., trade magazines’ editors, editorial calendars).• Seek out and respond to opportunities to advocate for the greater use of NGVs through creating and maintaining relationships with various transportation-centric trade associations & DOE Clean Cities program and participating in presentations/discussion panels at trade shows and conferences etc.
