Certification/Quality Assurance:- Responsible for testing the product functionalities during the development cycle and report software bugs to the development team.- Responsible for verifying the fixes for the bugs provided by development team are working as expected.- Responsible for preparing test plans for new functionality being developed.- Work with the development team and help them in understanding the customer requirements and work flows.- Responsible for updating the training material and help documents.Customer Support:As a second line support engineer in the product center, I am - Responsible for daily support of customer issues raised in the form of Service Requests.- Responsible for Communicating with Customers to provide timely solutions - Provide OnSite consultation to Customers - Provide Training to Customers

I got selected in L&T during my final year of graduation. I joined as Design Engineer in the Marine and Ship Design unit.- Deputed to Vipul Shipyard as Design Representative to coordinate between the production house and design center for six months. I got involved in all stages of fabrication which includes cross checking of production (workshop) drawings with the Class Drawings, production scheduling, conducted dry survey of the fabricated units, prepared erection plan, conducted NDT tests, material requisitions, verifying bills of subcontractor etc.- I worked on the “Detail Design of 5000DWT Container cum Pallet Carrier” for Bharathi Shipyard, Mumbai. Job responsibilities include preparation of 3D model in TRIBON M2 from the Class Drawings and extract production (workshop) drawings from the 3D model created in TRIBON. As part of the production drawings we delivered 1)The panel assembly plans 2) Cutting plan 3) Assembly drawings 4) Stiffener information 5) Plate bending information 6) Nesting of plate parts 7) Bill of MaterialChecking all the above-mentioned drawings is also done before delivering the same to the client to make them error free. Continuous interaction with the client is maintained so that all the workshop drawings delivered to them meet their requirements.
