Purpose:To develop relationships with Vendors, Shippers and Customers while attaining profitability in all areas of transit of our Home Delivery brands freight.Primary Responsibilities: 1 - Reviews orders for cost accounting to ensure that all costs are entered correctly per contracts or quote agreements ensuring that costs are accurate or the lowest possible for the service provided.2 – Tracking Freight• Review all orders in proof of pick-up (350 status) and address the movement of the freight• Review distressed orders that could not get corrected on previous days and take action to correct.• Call for proof of pickups on previously scheduled return orders 3 - Routing outbound freight via the most cost effective and time efficient mode. This function includes post auditing shipments to determine if superior options are available for future like shipments. This will ensure accurate and cost effective routes, process improvement and increasing profitability resulting in customer satisfaction.4 - Routing advanced exchange, return orders and any reverse logistics movements resulting in accurate and cost effective routes, process improvement and increasing profitability and customer satisfaction. 5 - Dispatches pickups to ensure that all shipments tendered to us on a day are picked up if they are indeed available and to re-consign any that are unavailable to the next day. This will ensure effective and accurate dispatching of freight pickups resulting in satisfied customers.6 - Agent managers will discover exceptions of shipments in transit and correct to ensure deliveries are performed on a timely basis. This role additionally handles complaints regarding agent failures. This will ensure that deliveries are on-time and that tactical failures are promptly addressed and corrected, as well as that costs and statuses are up to date.

Each day I had to build a route plan based on the freight volumes going to the south central part of the United States. I was in charge of three different lanes and making sure the freight was loaded properly and economically to ensure safety and profitability.
