My mission as a hardware engineer is to turn each development project into an exercise in holistic design. For me, this starts with understanding the needs and wishes of all stakeholders and requires a strong grasp on hardware design as well as the electronics and software. Allowing myself to draw inspiration from different fields opens up the solution space and enables me to learn something new with every project I get to work on.Product development has not only been a focus of my professional work for the last five years but is also a constant in my spare time. Whether I am rebuilding old radios to equip them for the modern world or designing a new industrial control system at work - project planning is key. With a clear view ahead, I am paving the way for a smooth development process even when new challenges knock on the door.I have extensive experience with Solidworks and similar CAD packages and have been designing schematics and PCBs in Eagle and KiCAD as well as industrial installations in SEE Electronics. Further, have I been programming in Python and embedded C, both in professional and hobby projects.
