Current- Ensured efficient coordination and delivery of the Afrikan Liberation Gathering in Johannesburg for 200 young people, organisations, civic society leaders, academics, artists, and local community groups that support social and economic systems change.- Co-developed and co-planned the festival concept note to support the delivery of a festival that amplified the objectives and guiding principles of the Afrikan Liberation Hub- Co-developed and enabled inclusion and accessibility strategies to support inclusion and accessibility for all members, service providers, staff, and audiences attending the festival. This was achieved by consulting with Disability and Accessibility consultants Wakari and South African Sign Language Interpreter Yellow Owl.- Co-designed the venue layout and production design of the event, including liaising with the production designer and service providers to bring together the vision of the concept note- Responsible for managing the festival budget, including coordinating with the Network Co-lead and financial manager to process payments to service providers- Responsible for managing procurement and contracting with service providers, with support from the Operations lead- Co-led all administrative and logistical support of volunteers, speakers and artists contributing to the content of the festival programme- Supported Communications coordinator in the conceptualisation of the design of Afrikan Liberation Hub branding and communications strategy - Supported the Co-engagement team in the conceptualisation of the pre-engagement festival activities and the content leading up to the festival
