About Thornton Dyson

Retired - and loving it. Aviation: I have chosen to focus my time on my life long passion of aviation. After 40+ years of being a private pilot I finally got my commercial rating in 2014 and have reactivated my "basic"​ ground instructor certificate. In preparation for getting my Flight Instructor Certificate, I am currently working on my "instrument"​ ground instructor rating. Giving Back: I volunteer for the USCG Auxiliary. My focus (see above) is supporting the Aviation portion of the Auxiliary as an Aircraft Commander. I am also the Webmaster for my local Flotilla & Division. I even get on a boat every once and a while. IT Security: What can I say, once an IT Security geek always an IT security geek. I "consult"​ with anyone who brings up a security topic. Don't hit that "red button" you are likely to get an ear full.Consulting: By request, I do consulting in the IT Security, Enterprise Architecture, IT Management and other areas.
