I changed careers a few times while adjusting to health challenges. Each step of the way, I picked up useful skills to help me thrive in fast-paced environments. As a Flight Attendant with Delta, I sharpened my customer service abilities. As an Account Representative with Charley Benson State Farm, I honed my problem-solving skills, resolved conflicts, and delivered end-to-end customer initiatives within demanding timelines and budgets.Most recently, I’ve ascended through several roles at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Early on, I worked with internal and external customers to address inquiries, propel work orders, and streamline policies. I was then recruited to be a Program Coordinator due to my personality and wit, even though I had no prior experience. My boss’ rationale was, "You can teach anyone a job, but you can’t teach optimism or willingness to learn and help.” Leveraging my relentless drive to grow, I learned everything I could about that role. Upon transitioning to Program Manager, I helped standardize processes, create a strong sense of community, and overcome persistent problems.I completed an Associate of Science in Education in 2021 and am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Education (expected 2024).
