GT – Engineering Services is a Consultancy founded by a former colleague from Toyota Motorsport and me. Target customers are companies that, based on their size, can’t effort a simulation department but want to implement CAE and Flow Testing into their development process. Project management, resource planning and program delivery are among additional services we are providing.

Responsible for all Thermal & Heat Management related Systems Engineering Activity’s within Ford’s Asia-Pacific Region.Achievements:• Successfully delivered multiple Vehicle, mid-size SUV and Pick-Up Truck Programs, leading a Team of 7 Engineers.• Delivered Vehicle Development Programs in time and on budget• Delivered Prototype Planning which met and exceeded Efficiency Targets by 20%• Optimized Thermal Wind Tunnel and International On-Road Sign-Off Testing to shorten Development Time• Implemented improved Solutions based on Test Data Analysis• Optimized 1D- & 3D-CFD Simulation and Process• Investigated Battery Electric, Plug-In Hybrid and Hydrogen Concepts • Built and developed a high performing team who were retained for more than 8 years

Responsible for all aerodynamic Development and 3D-Computational Fluid Dynamics Simulation for Aerodynamics, Powertrain, Cooling and Climate. Managerial responsibility for Chassis and Powertrain related FEA simulations within Ford’s Asia-Pacific Region. Achievements:• Hired Engineers to establish a Team for Aerodynamics and Flow Simulation• Development Processes for more efficient use of Software Capabilities• Planed Prototypes and Executed Aerodynamics Wind Tunnel Tests• Developed new Ford Ranger with Best-In-Class Aerodynamics and presented Process and Results on a CFD Conference

Setup of the newly established Powertrain Simulation Team for 1D- & 3D-CFD, DoE and Flow Bench activities as a Group Leader of 6 employees and students.Achievements:• Hired and Trained Junior Engineers in Computational Fluid Dynamics• Purchased, Installed and Operated a AVL-Tipplemann Flow Bench for Cylinder Head Testing• Work Coordinator between European and Korean Simulation Teams

Project responsibility for air box, exhaust system, intake and exhaust port and cooling jacket devel¬opment using Computational Fluid Dynamics and Testing.Achievements:• Selected most suitable Software Tools for the new Powertrain Simulation Group • Developed 1D/3D CFD Software coupling Process and presented results on several Conferences• On-Track Test Data Analysis
