Since C4X Discovery's NMR technology shows what shapes active molecules prefer to adopt, it provides high-quality templates for drug discovery and design, and valuable information for drug candidate optimisation. Gained experience in all aspects of drug design, synthesis and design hypothesis testing.Successful delivery of rational HTS, Free-Wilson and Decision Tree analyses as well as predictive statistical models to extract information from large and small datasets.Expertise in the application of property focussed, scientific QSAR/QSPR models and protein crystallography to drive design of single compounds and libraries for optimisation and problems solving.Design of collection subsets to drive assay validation, hit finding and follow-up testing utilizing a range of comp chem tools and approaches. These include exploitation of target knowledge, chemical similarity and sub-structure based approaches such as SMARTs, fingerprint based similarity measures and database searches. Wide-ranging expertise in interpreting protein crystal structure and structure based design gained in FBLG projects enabled by the use of specialised LINUX based software to aid protein, small molecule modelling and general docking procedures.
