I move and trade pigs daily. I do it fairly and efficiently. That is the vision I bring into work at DTL every day. I believe in long-standing relationships, in being an eminent business partner, and lifting the industry to another level. It is my belief that great business starts with great conversation and trustworthy and transparent relations. Every day, I do the utmost to keep our customers satisfied and listen to their wants and needs. As an industry, I think that the worst thing we can be is stuck. We need to keep up with the times and stay vigilant about customer tendencies and changes in the market. We have to keep developing and challenge ourselves to never stop thinking innovative thoughts. As a leader, I believe that the best thing you can do is give your employees responsibility for their own tasks and have faith in their abilities to solve the issues. I believe in giving people chances based on their competencies and not their age. I am lucky to have so many talented employees that are in their prime years and I wouldn’t want to have it any other way.
