As a consultant with expertise in gender-based violence I worked with stakeholders both within and outside government to research and deliver the first government policy initiatives to tackle stalking. They led to a change in the law and a 20% increase in prosecutions for stalking. • Recommendations were published in the Coalition Government's document on how to tackle Violence Against Women and Girls. • Organised a range of events to kick-start the government's work on stalking, including the the first joint police and Crown Prosecution Service training conference to improve collaboration between the two organisations.• Managed the publication of toolkits for pupils and teachers as part of the Government's Teenage Relationship Abuse campaign to tackle abuse in young peoples' relationships. This involved managing relationships across government at the most senior level as well as coordinating with numerous external stakeholders.
