A highly-motivated, aspiring materials engineer exploring the connection between sustainability, modern consumerism, and AI. Passionate about designing sustainable materials and AI systems of the future.Currently, I’m a second year undergraduate student at UCLA pursuing a B.S. in materials engineering. I’ve had the honor of working with the Emaminejad Lab on strain-sensitive bioelectronics. Recently, I’ve started working with UCLA’s Morris Group on LLMs for real-world materials prediction and discovery.As a high school senior, I designed sustainable and affordable housing for residents of informal housing in my hometown Yangon to improve the standard of living in my community, a project with the potential to revolutionize the cityscape of Yangon. The same project allowed me to become one of the 100 Year 2 Rise Global Winners out of over 80,000 applicants.
