With more than 20 years of professional practice at the edge of public management, I am addressing complex strategic and operational challenges in multi-cultural and multi-stakeholder environments. Based on a sound academic foundation, broad understanding of public policy , as well as extensive experience in programme management, monitoring and evaluation, I am consistently delivering on ambitious objectives.At this point in time, I manage a grants programme of almost one hundred million Euros in a politically volatile and operationally challenging context, covering various thematic areas including environmental management, social inclusion, and anti-corruption. Before I have been working on a diverse set of issues at various levels of responsibility in academia, consultancy, and public administration.A Swiss national, I have been living and working for more than 10 years in South-Eastern Europe. I hold a Ph.D. and two M.A. from the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland). A native German speaker, I am fully proficient in English and French, and have a professional working proficiency in Romanian.
