About Thu Do

As a designer and educator, I believe technology should elevate humanity, particularly by fostering inclusive education. At Merit America, I lead a talented team closing the opportunity gap for adults in low-wage jobs, designing programs that prepare them for careers offering both financial stability and dignity.Previously, I guided a team of 30+ researchers and designers at TAILORU Collective, creating equity-driven tech solutions in education, health, and climate change. Collaborating with founders to launch impactful products remains one of my proudest achievements.Teaching and mentorship have always been close to my heart. As a Techstars mentor and adjunct faculty at institutions like MICA, I’ve guided over 70 students through complex design challenges. Helping emerging designers enter the field continues to bring me immense joy.Currently, I’m working with DeltaGen, helping startup founders leverage AI to enhance decision-making in M&A. This complements my experience with my patented AR startup, TAILOAR, blending cutting-edge tech with practical solutions.Beyond work, I engage with climate action communities and enjoy restoring broken objects.
