The European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam is with its 1000 members, the fifth largest European chamber in the world and a respected voice on business, economic development, and law in Vietnamese society and within government circles. I focus my contribution on strengthening the organisation's capacity in communications, marketing, and events. With my involvement, I gain unique access to government representatives at a local and national level and a continuous flow of information about government priorities and developments within the business framework for the FDI sector.

I supported Niels Brock to build a business case for entering the Vietnamese market with their international high school concept and prepared the entering into a partnership with a Vietnamese education group.Within just nine months we managed to build up the entire business case, find several locations for the school, build relationships and understanding for our project amongst relevant government agencies in Denmark and Vietnam and attract investors.

Epinion is an international market research agency founded in Denmark in 2000. The Asian operation is based in Ho Chi Minh City, where 85 consultants and support staff help leading companies understand markets in Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Myanmar and Indonesia. My mission is to secure continuous growth by expanding our online research capabilities and opening new branch offices. Additional to this, I oversee the finance function for the Asian operation and our international marketing.

As Regional Manager, together with Aske Ostergaard and our team, we grew Epinion's office in Vietnam from introducing the idea and business plan to an operation with more than 30 employees in Ho Chi Minh City. My work was in this period focused on: Business development, setting up finance and accounting, applying for business license and set-up, recruitment, 
establishing work processes and proper communication channels between staff in Vietnam and Denmark, managing research engagements in Vietnam

CSR Emerge was a project sponsored by Danida, the Danish organization for development aid. The objective was to understand how Danish companies in Vietnam create business value from their CSR activities. The results were presented in a magazine format and in six online video case studies.

The Danish Chamber of Commerce represents 17,000 Danish companies. I contributed partly with assistance in professional lobbyism and by supported to build an e-learning portal for young freight forwarders.

After two years of intense volunteer work with health and safety in the Danish school system, I established the training company elev.polit to commercialize the knowledge base I had build up. I set up a team together with two senior consultants and together we provided training sessions across the country and reached more than 300 clients.

CABI is the leading Danish consulting company on Labor Market issues. I worked as a researcher to help build an online knowledge base of labor market initiatives, regulation and best practice.
