My arrival as CyberSecurity GTM Leader comes at a time where WEI’s security practice and integration processes are already strong, scalable, and proven.The cybersecurity space and overall threat landscape evolves faster every year. IT security professionals know this has created a huge demand for expertise. Topics like AI and analytics, automation, cloud, etc. dominate the headlines as companies wrestle with what is real vs. what is hype. At the most basic level, I think what is needed is a partnership based on regular dialog to help customers better understand trending tech and cyber waves. A great example of this is the gap in expertise around how to develop and implement an effective SOC and incident response program. Patchwork approaches, legacy architectures, and cobbled tech “stacks” that were developed haphazardly 15+ years ago have not kept pace with today’s threat landscape and have delivered lackluster outcomes for the disproportionate investment. It comes back to having regular conversations where the customer feels supported, heard, and responsibly guided.WEI has the resources, expertise, and relationships - my job will be to expand the dialog and engage in delivering real, modern solutions for our customers.
