Designed Aggie Rewards App utilizing FIGMA to reward UC Davis students for dinning at their favorite restaurants using reward based system.

Designed a mental health app to analyze the efficiency of smartphone based treatment on psychological disorder such as: depression, anxiety, and sleeping disorder. Cognitivix employs AI and deep learning for solving brain stimulation problems, and maps coil position to the electric field distribution in the brain. Another potential approach is to generate the use of AI as a translator in different languages with high accuracy for clinical applications, making the app accessible globally to people with mental health disorders.

+ The VA Palo Alto Health Services Research Internship provides Bay Area community college students with in-depth health services research experiences at federal level research center. I got paired with Dr. Michelle Madore to engage in environmental and biological influences on brain function, mood regulation, and cognition. // Conducted research on identifying bio markers of treatment response. Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is one of the treatments available to Veterans to help alleviate symptoms of depression. The NEAT lab aims to explore whether we can predict who will benefit most from this treatment modality. // Utilized the use of TMS to explore alternative stimulation locations which could mitigate or slow cognitive changes associated with mild cognitive impairment and Alzheimer’s disease in older adults.// Presented research project at the end of the summer program in front of interns and mentors at the VA Palo Alto.

+The Simons Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) provides funds for undergraduate research assistants to work in SCGB-funded laboratories during the academic year under the mentorship of postdoctoral fellows or doctoral students. I got matched into the Jennifer Raymond Lab at Stanford University to gain hands-on experience and contribute to computational neuroscience research. The Raymond Lab focuses on analyzing neural learning rules governing the local decisions each synapse in the circuit makes to alter its strength, based on analysis of input. The goal is to understand how decisions are coordinated through neural circuit to obtain algorithm for the regulation of the circuit's function/1 Conducted research under postdoctoral scholar, Trace Stay, to run the runEyeCalibration.m script in MATLAB to align the ellipse in eye calibration to give values for the radii of the pupil and corneal reflections./2 Tested the experiment using MATLAB, TIBTalk, and Spike 2 to set number of training blocks and training duration to run the experiment in 6-7 training blocks, and saving results of data in the mouse's folder. /3 Inspected three phases of post training period including Head Restrained Motion, Head Sinusoidal Motion, and Head Natural Motion to see if the mouse is having particular issues such as a stroke or tearing its headpost. /4 Presented research data in the end-of-year research symposium in New York City in front fellows and mentors.
